Even with the advent of medical technology, mankind is still unsuccessful in the fight against the ancient and debilitating disease called malaria. Past unsuccessful efforts in malaria control and eradication tell us that biomedical approach alone, which was undoubtedly necessary, was not sufficient. My research focuses on the human factor, which is sometimes overlooked compared to the mosquitoes or the malaria parasites, in the efforts to tackle malaria.
